How to get there by Singapore MRT. Singapore interactive metro guide.
The Trick Eye Museum, which is situated on the grounds of Resorts World Sentosa located on the Sentosa Island, not too far from the Universal Studious entertainment park, is one of the most interesting and newest tourist attractions in Singapore. It opened in the middle of 2014 and became one of the most visited landmarks of the city. It is an original art space that displays an impressive exhibition of unique 3D paintings and installations. Each of these forms sophisticated optical illusions, encouraging visitors to become part of the show!
The motto of this museum is simple. Art is not always static and is not created for pure observation. It can be interactive and bring joy to its viewers, letting them play with the exhibits, snap photos and have fun. This art gallery does not contain dusted and boring paintings, which you can see in hundreds of different museums worldwide. Instead, its walls, ceiling and floors are adorned with several hundreds of 3D drawings and art objects that trick your eye and pretend to be alive if you look at them at a certain angle.
Moreover, the Trick Eye Museum is not acquainted with such things as "Do not Touch!" and "Taking photos is prohibited!". It encourages the guests to interact with the 3D objects, making their own stories and snapping memorable photos. In fact, the 3D effect is best observed on a photo card. That is why most of the visitors come to the Trick Eye Museum to have fun instead of staring at the exhibits.
There are six themed rooms on offer in the museum: "World Art", "Safari Kingdom", "Circus Stars", Dreaming of a Fairy Tale", "Winter Love Story", and "Adventure Awaits". Each of these allows to have a truly unforgettable experience. Besides, each gallery has special markings on the floor that let the visitors occupy the best position to snap an amazing photo.
