Singapore Discovery Centre
510 Upper Jurong Road
The educational and entertainment Singapore Discovery Centre gathers dozens of high-tech park amusements and interactive expositions under its roof. They allow hearing the past, seeing the present and even touching the future of Singapore.
The unique Discovery Centre occupies the territory of more than 4 500 square meters and has five galleries devoted to eight different subject areas. The visitors can learn about Singapore history through three elements – fire, earth and air; feel themselves in the role of a TV reporter; sense what a parachute jumper experiences during the flight; learn how to act in case of a threat to national security, and more.
One of Singapore Discovery Centre’s most remarkable objects is an ultramodern cinema iWERKS, where computer and laser technology recreates a volumetric three-dimensional image on the five-story-house high screen.
