The restaurant André, managed by the famous chef André Chiang, is situated in Singapore downtown, not far from the subway station Outram Park.
Restaurant’s menu concentrates on new French cuisine, which is slightly set off by Mediterranean dishes. The chef has developed his own philosophy of cooking and eating that is based on combination of uniqueness, purity, texture, memory, salt, artisanry and terroir (microclimate in wine-making). In addition, André has a wine cellar, filled with fine and rare wine brands.
The restaurant occupies three floors of the former shop-house: the ground floor is an open kitchen, the first one is a main room for 30 people, and the second one is chef’s office.
