The Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore will host the concert of the legendary glam metal band Guns N'Roses on the 25th of February, 2017. These American rockers will visit the city during their "Not in This Lifetime" tour. The band is planning to perform their most popular hits from the last two decades, which became internationally renowned.
Guns N'Roses was formed in 1985 in Los Angeles. The band's debut music album, "Appetite for Destruction", was released in 1987, becoming a worldwide hit. It is the most commercially successful debut music collection in the history of rock'n'roll. Two more albums, "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II", were recorded and released in 1991. These albums occupied the top of the Billboard chart for 108 weeks! That was a world record for sure. Naturally, Guns N'Roses is one of the most prolific and successful music groups. They sold more than 150 million copies of their albums.
There were some serious misunderstandings between the band members in the 1990s, and the guitarist left it. The band never performed in its original cast, but a reunion happened in 2016. The band set off on a large world tour after that and Singapore is one of their stops.
