November 27, 2016 the Neon Lights Festival will host the concert of a famous post-rock band Sigur Ros. The band is now on a large-scale world tour, performing their new and unknown songs.
Sigur Ros was formed by four guys from Reykjavik in 1994. Though each member of the band was involved in music activities before, Sigur Ros was a huge success thanks to original, inspiring sound, created by non-trivial music instruments, and amazing vocals of the band's leading singer Jón Þór Birgisson. Claiming that they "would change the future of music", Sigur Ros has created their own unique style, which combines dramatic and romantic motifs.
Currently, Sigur Ros is one of the most successful music bands in Iceland. These guys released eight albums, around two dozens of popular singles and a collection of remixes, which was recorded together with European celebrities. The most popular songs and new creations of the band will be performed during the festival.
