Snow City

How to get there by Singapore MRT. Singapore interactive metro guide.

Visiting Snow City that is located near the Science Center is one of the most popular entertainments in Singapore with its hot climate. Tired from Singapore heat tourists long for coolness, and local residents, in whose country the temperature never goes below +19°C, look for an opportunity to see real winter.

Snow City is Singapore’s first indoor ice palace with the area of 3 000 square meters, where the constant temperature of -5°C is maintained. It consists of two tiers, one of which is covered with artificial snow. There is a 60-meter-long and three-storey-high snow slope, where one can play snowballs, ride on inflatable sleds, snowboard or ski. Experienced instructors, who if necessary, teach skiing or snowboarding skills, are always at guests’ disposal.

In addition, Snow City performs an educational function, offering interactive training programs in low temperatures science, including exciting experiments. It is also possible to celebrate a birthday or to arrange a corporate event in Snow City.

Snow City has special acclimatization room for Singaporeans and residents of neighboring countries who are not used to the cold. Visitors are provided with warm jackets and shoes for free.

There are a shop with varied snow souvenirs and cafés offering light snacks and hot drinks on the City’s premises.

Getting here. Take a subway to the station Jurong East (EW24/NS1), then, walk in direction of Jurong Town Hall Road.

A real fun for the family. The sliding area was so cool and fun. It's a small park and the real attraction will be the sliding area. The rest of the park ain't anything worth to see.

You can't carry your camera. They have camera men and charge quite a bit for your photos. Wear pants and bring socks and gloves or anything for snow if you have coz they charge for EVERYTHING.
